Celebrating your experiences

We will be compiling a book of unique stories from the UK-Filipino community later this year. Proudly presenting a volume of nuanced and interpersonal snapshots of life.

Ten successful authors will be picked from a large pool of submissions to form a cohesive collection, our first non-fiction volume (hard copy and digital).

Due to release at the end of 2026.

This yet-untitled book is supported by the Arts Council England and successful applicants will be paid.

Our submissions process is now closed for 2026. 

  • WHO: Open submissions from writers of any background, with stories specific to the UK-Filipino experience. All writing levels accepted, first time and unpublished writers encouraged.

  • WHAT: A short story per author based on real-life experiences. 4,000 word maximum

  • THE PROCESS: Pitch intial idea to us using our submissions form. Workshops will be held over summer 2026 to help refine your idea. Submissions under review, all entrants will be notified of their status.
