In short, yes.
I am proud to be offering you an additional three short stories for the new year.
Kitami was written during the baking-hot summer of 2019 and follows Kitami's much-needed excursion to the opposite side of London to an old friend and her new-born. Grown-up problems galore are treated with a surprising maturity.
Teardrops on the Lea was also written in that same scorching summer. Whether it was written before or after Kitami, I do not remember now, but they are both definitely companion pieces. The story follows a promising and sudden romance in the East End of London, where wishes are slowly confused with possible UFO sightings.
Oranges & Lemons was written sometime in 2018 and was initially the pre-amble to a larger project that was eventually discarded. It is my hat-tip to the hated jobs we have all had and the surprising positives we can take from them years after. Oranges & Lemons also contains a new foreword, which can easily apply to all the hard-working and under-appreciated citizens of the world out there.
I do hope you enjoy the stories, please feel free to leave some feedback reviews when you have finished.
All stories, including a sample of my novel, The Philosopher Joel can be found in the new DOWNLOADS section.
Take care and stay safe all,
Danny
